ART HISTORIAN AND INTERIOR DESIGNER
Drs. Ineke J.W. Beeling was educated as an art historian at Leiden University, The Netherlands. Her specialization is: decorative arts and interiors, but she also trained as an interior designer in London and at the Academy of Arts in Maastricht, The Netherlands

MUSEUM DIRECTOR, ANTIQUES DEALER, DESIGN PROJECTS
Coming from a family of generations of dealers in antiques, the fifth generation since 1846, from childhood on she worked in the family business. She first had a career in the museums, a.o. as a museum director. Through the years she designed exhibitions for museums and antiques fairs. She was asked by private owners to advise on the decoration of their monuments, followed by projects for hotel accommodation in monuments andperiod rooms for museums.

RESPECT FOR THE INTERIOR OF MONUMENTS
This design work always seemed to involve monuments and gradually her passion for interiors in monuments became her specialization. As she has the knowledge and background she will respect the historic elements of your interior. If necessary she can advise you about specialist restorers for woodwork, plasterwork, furniture or textiles etc. or have research done on original colours.

Monuments may vary between 16th century castles and 19th century factories or private houses from the thirties.

Because of her extensive knowledge of antiques and design she will always position antiques and art in their most advantageous way and in beautiful combinations. In acquiring antiques, art or design for your interior she will be a sound advisor.
